Tracks from the Vaults EP…..

Development Music present their third release, this time it’s a digital only collection of new music, fresh interpretations and recent classics from the vaults, to celebrate the club night’s 4th Anniversary. Label love-ins Zed Bias and Atjazz combine on this fantastic release showcasing unreleased mixes of Atjazz’s much lauded ‘Info People’ bomb, while Zed Bias’ 2008 smash ‘Let me change your mind’ gets a digital release, alongside a hot new collaboration with Kissey Asplund.

Zed Bias’s debut single for Development Music featured Manchester vocal sensation Jenna G and quickly became a stable party record for DJs such as Mr Scruff (who included it on his Radio 1 Essential Mix), Louie Vega, DJ Spinna and Phil Asher. ‘Let Me Change Your Mind’ finally gets a digital release with a brand new full vocal version of the track appearing alongside a cheeky instrumental version, the perfect dj tool and a gem for anyone who missed out on the vinyl.

In addition, Zed returns to the label with a brand new and exclusive collaboration with Sweden’s queen of wonky funk Kissey Asplund. A wonderfully warm electronic groove bumps along effortlessly while Kissey’s abstract vocals float overhead. Low slung deep and soulful house at its best on this digital exclusive.

“Great job on the tune, one of my favorites of the moment. A Roots classic in the making.”
Louie Vega

“Very nice for a first release. Let me change your mind is a great dj tool to play”
DJ Spinna

“I have been playing it at every gig for the last few months, and constantly get asked about it. Killer”
Mr Scruff

Atjazz also returns to Development Music with a familiar song and presented with a fresh twist. Alongside Croatia’s talented Yannah Valdevit, Atjazz’s ‘Info People’ caused a bit of a stir last year with big plays from right across the house music spectrum, quickly becoming a favourite in the boxes of Tony Humphries, Laurent Garnier, Ashley Beedle and Osunlade to name but a few. Atjazz now unveils two alternative versions of ‘Info People’, one of which actually provided the framework for the original recording of the song last year. Yannah’s jazzy, insightful lyrics sit comfortably over the ‘Original Underground Mix’ which blends shuffling broken house rhythms with trademark Atjazz electronic synths and classic acid house basslines. Spacey, underground future soul.

As if that wasn’t enough, Atjazz then drops another deep house dub for good measure. The ‘Original Deep Dub’ brings more instrumental goodness for the deeper DJs, effortlessly blending classic old school house grooves with jazzy keys and more electronic synths. Atjazz, house music salutes you!

“A wicked EP. Love all the mixes overall. Big support.”
Ashley Beedle

“Brilliant many thanks for that will play this a lot MERCI!!!”
Laurent Garnier

“Solid and refreshing ep. a delicacy of flavors!”
Osunlade (Yoruba/Strictly Rhythm)
